Job Responsibilities:

As an Inventory Manager at Luxury Garments Ltd., your responsibilities will include:

  1. Inventory Control:
  • Oversee and manage the company’s inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability for customers.
  • Implement best practices to prevent overstocking or stockouts and minimize carrying costs.
  1. Order Fulfillment:
  • Coordinate with the logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
  • Monitor order status, track shipments, and address any fulfillment issues promptly.
  1. Inventory Planning:
  • Develop and maintain inventory planning strategies, taking into account demand forecasting and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure a steady supply of products.
  1. Stock Accuracy:
  • Regularly conduct stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in a timely manner.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Ensure that incoming inventory meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement quality control processes to identify and address defective products.
  1. Inventory Reporting:
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular reports to management on inventory turnover, aging, and other relevant metrics.
  1. Inventory Software:
  • Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate records and streamline inventory-related tasks.
  1. Supplier Relationships:
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage lead times, quantities, and product quality.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
  1. Cost Management:
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings within the inventory management process.
  • Work on strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
  1. Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various departments, including sales, procurement, and customer support, to align inventory management with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Knowledge of the fashion or e-commerce industry is a plus.

Salary Range: £28,000 to £40,000 per year
