Job Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Manager at Luxury Garments Ltd., your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supply Chain Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align the supply chain strategy with business goals.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory levels, demand forecasting, and procurement to ensure products are readily available for sale.
  • Implement efficient inventory management systems to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
  1. Vendor Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure cost-effective and timely product delivery.
  1. Logistics and Distribution:
  • Manage the logistics and distribution processes, ensuring timely delivery to customers while optimizing shipping costs.
  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities to meet customer service expectations.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
  • Identify and address quality issues in the supply chain.
  1. Cost Optimization:
  • Continuously analyze and optimize supply chain costs, seeking efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Monitor transportation, storage, and procurement costs.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to monitor key supply chain performance metrics.
  • Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and workflows.
  • Implement best practices and technologies to enhance efficiency.
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective supply chain strategies.
  • Exceptional vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.

Salary Range: £28,000 to £40,000 per year
